's Letter

Dear Host Family, My name is Bruno, and I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to become a part of your family and experience life in the United States. As I prepare for this adventure, I want to take a moment to introduce myself so you can get to know me a little better before we finally meet in person. I would describe myself as a friendly, open-minded, and curious person who enjoys both learning new things and spending quality time with others. One of my greatest passions is soccer—I love playing it, watching matches, and discussing everything about the sport. It has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly enjoy the teamwork, discipline, and excitement it brings. Besides soccer, I like to stay active, whether it’s through playing other sports, going for a walk, or simply spending time outside. While academics are not my biggest passion, I do enjoy learning about certain subjects, especially history and economics. I find it interesting to understand how the world has changed over time and how different factors shape societies and economies. I think it’s important to have a broad perspective on things, even if studying itself isn’t always my favorite activity. Family is also a very important part of my life. I have a close relationship with them, and we enjoy spending time together, whether it’s sharing meals, talking about our day, or watching a movie. My family has always supported me in everything I do, and they encouraged me to take this opportunity to live abroad and experience something completely new. Even though I will miss them, I am really looking forward to becoming part of a new family and sharing everyday life with you. I hope to bring a little bit of my home culture into yours while also fully embracing the experience of being an exchange student. Apart from school, sports, and family, I love spending time with my friends. Whether it’s playing games, joking around, or just having random conversations, I really value the time I spend with them. I believe that meaningful relationships are one of the most important things in life, and I am looking forward to building one with you. One of the main reasons I wanted to become an exchange student is my curiosity about other cultures and ways of life. I am eager to experience American traditions, foods, and daily routines, while also sharing my own culture with you. I think this exchange will be a great opportunity for all of us to learn from each other, and I truly hope to create memories that will last a lifetime. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening your home to me and giving me the chance to live this experience. I can’t wait to meet you in person, get to know you better, and start this incredible journey together! Best wishes, Bruno
