Manon

's Letter

Hello ! My name is Manon, I'm 16 and I live in France. At the moment, it's a mixture of feelings that overwhelms me a little more every day at the idea of knowing that I'm going to take part in such an exceptional adventure. I'm excited, happy, scared, impatient and many others... But above all I feel so lucky and grateful to be able to live and share such an experience with you. I'm a caring, respectful, attentive and always smiling person. I'm curious and always ready for a new adventure. I like meeting new people because I'm quite sociable and I always do my best to succeed in whatever I undertake. I have a twin brother, Johan, with whom I'm close. My parents Agnès and Jérôme and my pets make up my little family. I like to share special moments with them, over a board game, a walk in the woods or a trip to the cinema. I live in a rather quiet town. For seven years now, I've been devoting myself to modern jazz dance. Every year, I look forward to the show organized for the town, where I can share my passion with the public and experience unforgettable moments on stage. Outside dance, I like to occupy my free time in a variety of ways. Reading is one of my favorite activities; it transports me to different worlds and allows me to explore new ideas. I also enjoy going out shopping with my friends, an opportunity to spend time together while discovering the latest trends. Finally, I like to unwind by quietly watching my favorite TV series, which allows me to immerse myself in captivating stories and relax after a busy day. These activities enrich my daily life and allow me to develop to the full. I love my school for its values and principles. It's a family school where I feel at home. It teaches us respect and rigor. It helps me to grow. My school also opens me up to the world around me through the various activities it offers, such as sports competitions with other schools, help for people in need, and presentations on social issues. Every morning, I take the bus to school with my friends and start my day at 8:30. At lunchtime, I eat at the canteen, then finish my school day at 4.30pm. I spend an hour and a half studying outside school every day. In my opinion, school is important because it plays a fundamental role in our personal and social development. I don't yet have a clear idea of what I'd like to do for a living, but I'd like to be able to do something I feel good at. I'm also counting on this experience to help me choose the direction of my future studies. I chose this destination with great enthusiasm, as it represents for me a unique opportunity to discover new landscapes and a new culture. The idea of immersing myself in a different environment excites me enormously. I also have a deep desire to meet, network and exchange with you. I look forward to getting to know you, sharing stories and learning more about your experiences and way of life. By opting for an immersion program, I'm convinced that it's an excellent opportunity for me to learn a different language, while broadening my personal and cultural horizons. This experience isn't just about learning the language; it will also help me gain independence, develop self-confidence and create unforgettable memories that will stay with me forever. I hope that I share things, such as traditions, tasty recipes and unique customs from my country and I look forward to sharing these with you. What's more, I also intend to help out with daily chores by actively participating in family activities, such as cooking or gardening. This will enable me not only to contribute to family life, but also to integrate further and create strong bonds with you. I'm looking forward to living this adventure together !!! SEE YOU SOON !!!!!
