's Letter
Dear host family,
First, I would like to thank you for reading my letter and for giving me a chance to come to the USA. Iβm so grateful to be able to live an incredible experience like this one.
In my family, we are 5. My older brother CΓ©sar is 20 and is in Hong-Kong currently for his studies. My mum is called Nathalie, she works in the pharmaceutical industry for prematures and she likes to sing. My dad is named Christophe, he owns a garage and loves to ride a bike. And finally, I have my cat, Pioupiou, who is beige and ginger. He loves to sleep and eat.
I have a lot of hobbies. For example, I play tennis once a week and I do horse ridding. Iβm passionate about horse riding because I loves horses and competitions of show jumping (CSO). I enjoy seeing my friends and going out with them. I have a best-friend who is called Marianne, and a group of friends made of 12 people with including Marianne.
Last year, I came to the USA, in New York and I loved the global atmosphere.
When I was child, I wanted to go to the USA, it was a dream. When Iβll come to the USA next year, I think I will learn English to hopefully be fluent one day. I hope to discover all the American school system, which is so different from the French one. France.
I really would like to come a second time to have a host family, to make me friends, to meet new people, and to speak English.
As I said before, my goal is to practice English and come back in France with a real good level in English!!
I think I can feel good in totally different areas/worlds/environments. I love a lot of things and Iβm curious, so I know I can be happy on a farm or in a big city, (I will like it). I know during a long period of time, I will not see and contact a lot my family and my friends but I thinks I will manage that and it will not be a problem.
I am very sociable, so it is often quite easy for me to adapt to a new environment
Thank you for your reading my profile and if youβd like to know more about me, do not hesitate to contact me.
Have a wonderful day,
Jeanne
