Dear Host Family,
I hope you are doing well. I am so excited about the opportunity to stay with you and become a part of your family during my time abroad. I would love to introduce myself and share a little bit about my life, interests, and hopes for this experience.
I come from a close-knit family, including my parents, my older sister, her husband, and my younger brother. We have a strong bond and always support one another. One of my favorite things about my family is that we love traveling together, especially during holidays or school breaks. These trips allow us to create wonderful memories and experience new things together.
My parents have always been my biggest source of encouragement. My mother once told me a story that deeply shaped my confidence and determination. When I was born, I was premature and not as strong as other children. However, she never treated me differently. Instead, she raised me just like any other child, ensuring that I grew up to be independent and strong. Her words have always stayed with me, reminding me to believe in myself and face challenges with confidence.
In my free time, I have a deep passion for technology, especially computers and electronic hardware. I love learning about how different devices work and hope to study and develop my skills in this field in the future. Besides technology, another activity that has brought unexpected joy into my life is table tennis. I have never been a big fan of sports, especially physical activities, but table tennis changed that. It helps me stay active, improve my reflexes, and feel more energetic. Since I started playing, I have noticed that my body feels more flexible, and even my reaction time in daily life has improved. More importantly, it has introduced me to a wonderful community where I can meet new people, socialize, and feel more connected.
When it comes to food, I do not follow any special diet. I enjoy trying new dishes and sometimes get curious about how they are made. Exploring different cuisines is something that excites me, and I look forward to experiencing the food in my new home.
Personality-wise, people often describe me as a cheerful person. When I meet new people, I can be shy and struggle to express myself at first. Sometimes, I also rely on my parents for support. However, I am always willing to listen and learn. I believe that personal growth is one of the keys to success, so I constantly try to improve myself. That is one of the reasons why I decided to study abroad because I want to challenge myself, become more independent, and step out of my comfort zone.
I am truly looking forward to meeting you and learning more about your family, culture, and daily life. I appreciate this incredible opportunity and can't wait to begin this new chapter with you!
Warm regards.
