Dear future host family,
Thanks you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and considering me to potentially live together with your family for some time.
I’m a French boy. I generally like to try new things, and I really would like to explore a new country and new culture such as the USA.
I love listening to music, I am very sociable and also like very much sports. I also love cinema and movies, as well as watching Formula One competition. When practicing sports, I like outdoor activities such as riding a bike and running. Being French, I speak French, but also learnt English and Spanish over the years, and I am looking forward to improving to take my English to the next level (I have already spent three weeks in Ireland back in 2023 to improve my English). Being curious, I really want to also discover your family activities, and would like to join you when and where relevant.
My parents are both doctors. My father is a surgeon, and my mother is a hospital pharmacist. I have three siblings: one older brother, one younger sister and one younger brother. My older brother (Arthur) is in his final year before University. He is planning to study medicine next year like my dad. My sister (Jeanne) is in sixth grade and my younger brother (Gaspard) is in primary school. I am very fortunate: our family is very happy.
I am quite keen on French cuisine which is quite central to our culture, and I would like very much to have the opportunity to bring some of that culture to your home - in particular for the special days (Christmas, Easter, NYE, Bastille Day, etc.).
Thinking that next year could make me bilingual and accustomed to US culture is making me more determined than ever to be part of this program! I would be very excited to have that opportunity within your family!
Best regards,
Marceau
