Hello, my name is Lucas, and I hope to do an exchange program, living with a host family. My goal is to learn more English, learn more about American culture, its tastes, sports and hobbies. I also want to step out of my comfort zone, seek a challenge, something different from my daily routine, meet new people and make new friends. I have two parents and a sister and I live with them. During the week, I usually go to school every day, in the morning, I have two English classes a week and I go to the gym whenever possible. I have a guitar class and a writing class a week, and in my free time I try to study or go out with my friends. On the weekends, I usually go out with my friends, and also go out to eat with my family. I am very close to them. I always try to be fair and think before I act. Although I don't attend many churches, I have been a Catholic Christian since I was born. I am a happy and lively person, who is willing to try new things. I am very dedicated and always pursue my goals. I am studious but I like to go out and have fun with my friends during the day. I am a little shy and sometimes I have a little difficulty socializing with people I don't know, but that is something I would like to improve through this exchange. But when I manage to fit in, I am a funny and spontaneous person. I really like sports, although I only play soccer, I really like watching NFL and also NBA, tennis and UFC, I like going to the gym and I go whenever possible. Another thing I like is video games, I like playing FIFA, Valorant and Fortnite. I'm a very eclectic person when it comes to music, but my musical preferences are rock 'n roll, mainly Metallica, Beatles and Guns 'n Roses. I also like funk, Brazilian rock and a little bit of MPB, which are Brazilian musical genres. I like playing poker and truco, which is a Brazilian card game. This year I started taking guitar lessons, and it's something I really enjoy playing and practicing. Thank you.
