Dear family: First of all, my name is Miguel, I live in Spain with my brother and my two sisters. I’m a sociable person but I’m a bit shy at the beginning. I talk a lot and I laugh easily. I like spending my free time doing my favorite things. I’m independent, generous and hard-working. I’m also very empathetic and I sometimes think about others before even in myself. I always try not to leave anyone aside because I don’t like it when people do that to me. Besides, I’m kind and obedient too. My parents never pressed me on getting good grades, but I believe it is important, so I get good ones. In the future I would like to study journalism but I’m not really sure, so I have chosen technologic classes because I don’t want to close myself any doors to other careers. In my free time I do a lot of afternoon activities, so most of my friends aren’t from my school. Right now, my best friends are from my afternoon activities, for example, my friend Samuel, we’re teammates in athletics and we have so much fun at practice together. My favorite hobby is doing sports, I love them! Sports are very important in my life because they make me feel euphoric and I disconnect from everything. Right now, I’m practicing and competing in two sports: sailing and athletics but, when I was younger I played soccer for three years and I used to go swimming, but I dropped out two years ago. Every winter I used to go to the mountains with my family and we all skied together. Even though I have tried many sports, my favorite one is sailing since the sea is one of my favorite things. In addition to doing sport, I have other hobbies like reading, playing videogames on my PS5, playing soccer and basketball with my brother and listening to music. Sadly, I don’t have enough time to hang out with my friends, so we only see each other at practice. My dad’s family lives in Madrid. That’s why we don’t see them very often, but we try to visit them every New Year’s Eve. My mum’s family lives in the same town as me, so we see them more often and we spend most of Christmas holidays with them. Honestly, I can’t tell which is my favorite time of the year, because I love Christmas time (the winter and the snow) but I also love summer season (the beach, the sea and it’s my birthday too).
