Dear host family, I’m really looking forward to meeting you! I would love to have the opportunity to spend a year with your family and get to know your culture. My name is Theresa, I am an open-minded and curious person, and I love exploring new things. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. Twice a week, I participate in dance lessons: jazz dance, which is similar to ballet but not as stiff, and contemporary, in which we dance a lot on the ground. I also go to KISS once a week, an association where young children do sports. When I’m there, I assist the main trainer and help the children with the exercises. It’s really fun, and since I’ve been doing KISS for almost two years now, I have built relationships with the children, and it’s always great to see them. In my free time, I like to listen to music, especially the artists Billie Eilish and Lana Del Rey. In June, I’m actually going to a Billie Eilish concert with two of my best friends. I also enjoy reading, hanging out, and playing with my dog, being in nature, spending time with my family, and meeting my friends. I am really excited about this opportunity because I want to learn more about new cultures and meet new people. I’m looking forward to experiencing local traditions, eating new food, doing new activities, but also sharing some of my own background with you. I think all of these new experiences will help me grow as a person and create lasting memories with your family. Thank you again for opening your home to me and giving me this amazing chance.
