Dear Host Family, Hello! My name is “Nora.” In my free time, I like to travel with my friends and family and do activities together, such as cooking, playing board games. I would describe myself as a friendly and funny person. People who know me always say that being with me is fun and enjoyable. I am chatty and love to talk. However, I am quite sensitive to loud noises, such as thunder and barking dogs. There are four members in my family: my dad, my mom, my younger brother, and me. We currently live in Chiang Rai, in the Northern of Thailand. It’s a place surrounded by nature, with fresh air, there are many tourist attractions, most of them being natural sites like mountains. Chiang Rai also produces some of the highest quality coffee beans, which is why my family decided to run a small café. I enjoy doing a lot of activities with my parents. We often travel to Bangkok together to gather ideas for improving our café. Sometimes, we just stay home, cook, and do gardening. My younger brother is very funny and cheerful. We like to play games together in our free time, which helps me relax and have fun. I am currently studying in the math and science program. I do especially well in Social Studies and English. I particularly enjoy studying English because I love talking and sharing experiences with foreign teachers. In the future, if I have a chance, I would like to study abroad because I think it’s a great fit for me. I would like to broaden my perspective and vision. Although I am not yet sure what I want to do in the future, I want to learn more about myself in America. In my opinion, language is the key to success, which is why I want to improve my English. I am eager to join the High School Exchange Program because it offers me the opportunity to study in the USA, which will help me enhance my English skills. Participating in the High School Exchange Program is a wonderful opportunity for me to grow, improve myself, and connect with people from around the world. Thank you to my future host family.
