Clara

's Letter

Dear future family: My name is Clara, and I'm so excited about my exchange year the next course in the United States. Right now, I'm living in the Northwest of Spain, but along my life I had lived in several places of my country. I think this make me an outgoing person, and it gives me the idea to experience an echange year. I live in a big house with my brother and my parents. I go to a little private school near my house, I have only eleven classmates!! I can't wait to go to a crowded High School in America. I've always liked doeing sport, and since three years ago, I went to aerial gymnastic classes. I love it, because it is not like normal gymnastic, in this you have to climb fabrics and made some exercises on the air. I think this sport can help me to achive one of my goals in the US, being a cheerleader, I've always dreamed about it. Another important goal that I have for the next year is to open my mind to another cultures, because I think that experiencing how others live can help me to be a better person every day. I also think that this experience can make me more independent. Looking for the future, I know this will be important when I have to live alone, without my parents. Here, in Spain, I have a funny life: my favourite part are the weekends, because I make a lot of plans with my friends like going to the cinema, going shopping, playing board games, going to a cafe to spend the time talking and drinking Coke or as simply as going for a walk. I love spending time with my family too. Our favourite plan it's family movie's night with popcorn. We are all tired because it was a long day, and we can rest together in the sofa. We also love making barbacues with family and friends on our free days. Altough I love my life in Spain, I can't wait to go to live a course in the United States, and I'll be so glad if you bring me the opportunuty to take part of your family a few months that I won't forget. With so much love, Clara.
