Hi, my name is Angela and I am Spanish teenager who lives is a beautiful city in the middle of Spain. My family is composed of my Mom and Dad, my sister Martina and my brother Nico who are older than me and we also I have a dog named Luna who is 6 years old.
My brother plays football and he, like my sister, went to the USA last year . He is a very calm boy, funny and intelligent. My sister is very friendly and sociable girl, she loves to prepare herself for school (skin routine, brush her hair) . She also plays basketball like me.
My city is fantastic, it has many monuments and a lot of history. We have one of the most famous universities in all of Spain, so there are many students from all over and the city has a lot of life. The weather varies a lot, we have hot and dry summers but in winter it is very cold so, you have to dress warmly.
My school is a catholic school and we learn 3 languages: Spanish, English which is mandatory and French, that is optional. It is a small school, because it´s in the city center, but it is very good, and I really like it.
I wake up every morning at seven o’clock and I go to have breakfast, then I put on my uniform and I go to the bathroom to prepare myself for school . When I arrive at school I have 2 hours of class in a row and then we have a break of 10 minutes and we have 2 hours of class again a break of 25 minutes and 2 hours more. I don’t have a favorite subject but I like Arts and Geography.
I’ve been playing basketball since I was 6 years old, but my plan is to try a different one like volleyball, football, track… I also love to hang out with my friends, go shopping and take photos. I´m fan of traveling because it allows me to learn from different cultures, meet people and test new food… also because I disconnect from the world and I spend time with my family.
I consider myself very friendly, pleasant, open-minded, compliant with any plan, sociable, on the other hand, I also have things to improve, such as being more patient, listening to what others have to say and not be so proud.
During the weekends I like going shopping, hanging out with friends, and going for dinner… I also study and do my homework ( usually in that order).
On holidays we used to go on a family trip in Eastern time, go to visit my family at Christmas to Madrid or Extremadura and during the summer break I've been going to a summer camp last years
I want to go to the USA to meet people from different places, learn their culture, and live an unforgettable experience . Although it might be difficult at first, but I hope to make a lot of friends and share with them different things of my culture like my language, our food, traditions and the things that we do…
I still don’t know what I want to study in the future but I hope this experience will help me to be more independent, responsible and with a better English level, things the will help me in the near future.
See you soon!!
