Dear future host family, First of all, thank you for your hospitality ! My name is Kiara and I'm french. I am a curious person, I always want to learn new stuff and discover new cultures...I am also open-minded, I am willing to accept, understand opinions, cultures and way of life different from mine. I am really sociable, I like to get acquainted with new peoples and get to know them ! I am responsible and independent in everyday life. In my futur life I would like to work in fashion, international luxury marketing, that's why this exchange year project would help me in this area in order to be able to study international marketing. In my free time, I like to go to horse-ridding, I love to spend time with horses, I've been riding horses for several years now and I actually love it. I also like to go to the gym and going on a run with my bestfriend, It's only been a short time since we started but we already love it, It allows us to share moments together and set goals. I love spending time with my family and my friends. In France I have one little sister and we also have one dog and one cat on my father's side. My parents are divorced but I am fortunate to have very close relationships with my family. We enjoy to spend time together, whether it is during meals, when we discuss our days or even during family outings and activities like walking our dog...My parents always support me in my projects. My friends and I have a great bond. We like to get together after school or on weekends to do activities together, whether it's going to the cinema, playing sports or just spending time chatting. My friends are an important support in my life and we share precious moments that strenghter our friendship. At school I am involved. I enjoy learning new things, especially in subjects like management, It's really interesting, we leran lot of things. But also in english and spanish ! I love speaking foreign languages and learn them. I do my best to succed in my studies. I also have a great relationship with my classmates and my teachers. I would love to immerse myself in this culture to better understand it, especially through the daily life of a family and Amercican school system. Attending a high school will allow me to enrich my academic journey. I have heard that American schools encourages extracurricular activities a lot and I am looking forward to participating in them to meet new people. Living with a host family is also a unique opportunity for me. I would like to discover the daily life of Amercians, their traditions, their cultures and share moments with them. I am convinced that this unique experience will allow me to create strong bonds, learn new values, improve my english, make me grow any further and finally living my teenage dream that I've been talking to my parents about for years.
