Ida

's Letter

Hello, my name is Ida. I live with my parents and my little brother in Germany. My family is very important for me. I have a big family with 9 cousins and cousins and 10 aunts and uncles. I like it when the whole family comes together on festivals like Christmas. For that we all meet at my grandparents house and celebrate together. There is always a lot going on and a lot of fun. Another important thing in my life is my sport. I love doing any kind of sport but above all I love soccer, gymnastics and skiing. I have been doing gymnastics since I was little. I train 3 times a week. Since half a year I have also been training little girls in my club. But I think I like soccer even more than gymnastics. I have been playing soccer for three years now. I am in a team with my best friend and I really like to train 2 times a week and have a match every sunday. I love the teamspirit at soccer. Next to the sports I really like music. I play the piano since seven years and have vocal lessons since one year. I love music and not only making music but also listening to it. In addition to playing soccer, plaing piano, singing and doing gymnastics, I really like skiing. I have been doing that since I was little. My parents, my brother and I go skiing with friends every winter holiday in Austria and every easter holiday in Switzerland. My dad is a Ski instuctor next to his real profession and he taught us how to ski. I like being in the mountains but I like being on the beach even more. That brings my to another important part of my life: Traveling. This year we went to Cape Verde. I loved it there. The nice people the new culture and the incredible nature. The long white beaches and the turquoise sea, but as well the mountains and the green landscapes. We were diving in Cape Verde. It was beautiful to see the great nature underwater. I love to travel the world and see other cultures, other nature and meet people they live completely different. My brother and I, we made our diving certification (The open water) three years ago and we are now diving at every opportunity. Next to my Hobbys and my family my friends are a big part of my life. I have a big and very good group of friends and love spending time together and go in the swimming pool, at the christmas market, have a sleepover and many other things. All in all can I say I like sport and music, love travelling and my family and my friends are very important for me. Because I am a big family person I would enjoy to stay in a family with siblings. But in general I am open to new things. I am looking forward to my exchange year and can hardly wait until it finally starts. Yours sincerely, Ida
