Dear host family. Well first of all thanks for giving this opportunity to someone whose dream are about to become true and I hope this letter is really useful to get to know me. I'm a spanish girl and I'm currently in my sophmore year. I have always been extremely curious and since I was really small I have been in love with the idea of living in the U.S. I have always loved to travel and to meet new people, not only for the experience of meeting a new place but also for meeting a whole new culture where you learn new ways of living and a different view of the world. I love to read, especially fantasy. Some of my favourite books are the percy jackson saga and the folks of the air. When it comes to my taste in music i can't really specify because i love music from the 70's and 80's but at the same time my favourite singer is Taylor Swift. I love star wars and marvel, however my favourite show of all time is "how i met your mother" . I'm very extrovert, and energetic, I love to try new things and doing activities outdoors. I'm currently learning my third language, french. I speak spanish perfectly since it is my first language and I would say that my knowledge of english is good enough to keep up a conversation about almost anything. I live with both of my parents and my little brother, whose eight. My mom is a teacher and she works in my high school, as for my dad, he is a police man. I have danced since I can remember and it is something that makes me happy no matter what. It is something I intend to keep doing in the US. I think that while I'm there to learn your culture, you could learn about mine, like the kinds of expresions that we use that don't exist in english, our typical holidays and dancing etc, however the thing I am more excited to show you is spanish food because its delicious. I can't wait to be an exchange student and well, make my live long dream come true, which isn't something that you take lightly. I hope to know from you soon! With warms regards, Adriana
