Dear host family, I am very grateful that you are willing to participate in the exchange program and that you have taken me in with your family. I am a German boy and I am currently in the 10th grade at a grammar school. My goal is to graduate from there. I am really looking forward to getting to know lots of new people and a new culture, discovering the world and trying out lots of new things. I love doing sports. Whether it's soccer, badminton, volleyball, climbing or jogging. I am an outgoing and fun-loving person. I speak German and I am currently learning English and Spanish. I also like doing things with my two brothers. I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. It makes me happy when I can bring joy to other people. I played soccer for 8 years until I injured my knee twice within a year. That's why I now only coach one team. I have a lot of fun and enjoy spending time with the children. My family and I love adventures and traveling. When I saw the wonderful pictures of my friends in America, it made me more determined to go to America and learn about your culture. I believe that I can also take amazing photos and have unforgettable memories with you and my new friends in America. It is a unique opportunity to attend a high school and get to know a new culture intensively. My goal is to have a perfect command of the English language. I have already had the opportunity to experience the life of a Spanish student for a week, which was a lot of fun. I am happy to be able to share the German language and culture with others.
