Dear host family, First, I want to thank you for the hospitality that you offer me. This will be my first important experience abroad and I can’t wait to share it with you! In my family there are my dad Stefano, my mum Silvana (they’re both accountant), my brother Leonardo and me. Leonardo is 15, we’re almost the same age so we have common interests and friends, and we spend a lot of time together. I think we’re lucky because together we never get bored, and I can always count on him. My family and I are very close, we like travelling and visiting new places but also watching movies and going to the restaurant. I really love to have long conversations with them and I can’t wait to learn more about your family. I often help my parents with house chores but I’m not a very good cook. On the other hand, my brother is very good at cooking and he is teaching me many recipes that we could do together if you want. I study languages in a very demanding school. I like it but I’d be interested in trying a different school system. I’m a good student and a very sporty girl, I’m active and I love to do many things during my day. What about you? What’s your routine? Do you like sports? I’ve practiced Track and Field for four years. I’m a sprinter, running is my biggest passion. I train almost every day and I’m honestly aware it’s going to be a challenge to leave it but I hope I can do it during my exchange student journey and try some different activities. I enjoy outdoors activities but I also like to relax on the couch and watch a TV series. My favorites are sitcoms because I love to laugh and I’m very cheerful. What’s your favorite tv series? Do you like sitcoms or prefer something else? My friends always tell me I’m very busy because of sport practices, but I like to hang out with them. I consider myself to be an open-minded and well-organized person. I am adaptable but I know big changes could be a challenge. I hope we will share beautiful moments and memories that I will bring back to Italy with me.
