Dear Host Family, Hello ! My name is Carla and I'm very excited to be part of your family and to live an American life during ten months. I live with my father, my mother, my older brother and my cat. I lived in Spain when I was a child and I moved to France almost four years ago. I talk french, spanish and I'm learning english since I'm five years old. I'm tidy, curious, honest, generous, sociable, unpunctual, funny and shy until I feel comfortable (lol). I enjoy cooking, playing the piano, go to the beach on summer, visit new countrys, try new things, spend time with my family and my friends. My favourite meal are sushis and I love crepes with nutella. My favourite movie is " The Notebook " and my favourite serie is " Vampire Diaries " I want to experience a year in the US with an american family because it has always been my dream to go to highschool, make friends, learn another culture, eat american food, celebrate thanks giving, decorate the house for hallowen and Christmas like in the movies... But also because I want to learn more about me, get out of my confort zone, learn to be more autononous, have another family with whom I can continue to live experiences and create memories after my exchange year. Moreover, I don’t just want to receive all the wonderful experiences that come with this exchange, but I also want to share my Franco-Spanish culture, my roots, and my traditions. I hope to contribute to your home by introducing you to my language, values, and way of life. More than anything, I want to become a part of your family, creating meaningful connections and learning from each other along the way. In my daily life,I often go with my friends to eat something after school, we hang out on weekends, I go to my piano class on wednesdays and we always see a movie together on fridays evenings while we eat pizza. On saturdays, I also go to the swimming pool to practice. At school, my favourite subjet are english and french.
