Dear Members of My Future Host Family, I am excited to have the opportunity to introduce myself and thank you for opening the doors of your home to welcome me. My name is Santiago, and I am thrilled to participate in this exchange program to discover a new place, meet people who will help me grow, and, most importantly, improve my English skills while sharing unique experiences together. Art is a fundamental part of my life, as it allows me to express myself freely and connect with my emotions and ideas. In my free time, I enjoy drawing and exploring various forms of art. I hope to share this passion with you and also learn about your interests and traditions. I consider myself an empathetic and optimistic person, always striving to face challenges with creativity and a positive attitude. I also deeply value respecting the beliefs and ideas of others. While I sometimes like to have control over how I do things, I believe this helps me stay organized and prepared for new experiences. During the week, my routine is quite active. I dedicate time to activities like track and field, an art club where we work on projects throughout the year, and a drama club where we prepare a musical. On weekends, I usually spend time with my family and friends or relax by drawing and improving my skills. I am very excited about becoming part of your family and hope to contribute positively, whether by helping with household chores or sharing a bit of my culture, especially through cooking. I love baking desserts and would be thrilled to try out new recipes together. I also look forward to learning about your traditions and customs, as I believe this experience will be a true cultural exchange.
