Dear host family, Hello, My name is Alejandro. I am very excited to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you and share a little about me I am currently studing in 2nd ESO, and I would love to spend a school year in your home in the United States. I think this experience will be amazing and will help me learn a lot about life. One of my great passions is soccer. I have been playing it for a few years now, and I am currently playing for my hometown team, I love both playing and watching games. In fact, I would like to play for the high school team, or the city team (if there is one), or any other sport. Besides soccer, I also really enjoy playing video games. My favorite games are FIFA, Fortnite, Minecraft, Rocket League, and more. I like to play with my friends and I think it's a good way to stay connected with your friends if they live far away from you. I think video games are a fun way to connect with people and have a good time. Spending time with my family and friends is very important to me. I love going for walks, going to the movies or just staying at home playing games or watching series. My friends are like a second family to me. I would like to meet their friends and family and share moments together. I am sure we could do many interesting activities and create unforgettable memories. As for my studies, I strive to maintain good grades and learn as much as possible. I enjoy technology, and I am always available to help my classmates. I am excited about the idea of attending a school in the United States, as I know it will be a different experience. I am eager to learn about the American education system and make new friends in the process. On school days I usually don't make plans with anyone and stay at home studying. I am usually studying for 2 or 3 hours depending on what I have. If you are wondering, I am not religious, but I respect the ones who are, and I wouldn't mind living with religious family and accompanying them to religious activities or acts. Continuing with my tastes, I also like music very much. Not long ago I didn't like playing instruments or learning about music, but a few weeks ago I started playing the flute at school, and it's starting to interest me. I consider myself a very friendly person, I love meeting new people and making friends, and I don't like to get along with people. I also think I am kind and caring towards others, I don't like to see people badly because of me and I care about them. Another of my qualities is wanting to participate and contribute in multiple activities. During my time in the U.S. I would like to do a lot of new things, like playing sports or participating in community activities, and I am willing to help out in any way I can, whether it is helping my neighbors, classmates, or other people. I also want you to know that you can count on me for anything. Whether it's babysitting for a while (if you have children), or something else. On school days I don't usually make plans with anyone and I stay at home studying. I usually study for 2 or 3 hours depending on what I have to do. I also like to travel a lot with my family. We have been to different countries in Europe, including Austria, France, Italy. I even went to Miami once because some friends of my parents were living there for work.
