Hi, I’m Till,  but you can call me by one of my second names, Lasse or Wilhelm if that is less confusing for you. Thank you so much for being willing to accept me to live in your family for a year. I’ve learned English since third grade in primary school and since then I enjoyed speaking it. In sixth grade I started to learn Latin, but we only learn how to translate, not how to speak it. I would say am an easy going, ambitious and broadly interested person. I’m from a small village in the middle of Germany in Lower Saxony and I live with my two siblings (which are both younger than me) and my parents. We are living in a house with a big garden with cherry trees and many fruit bushes. If possible, we eat breakfast, lunch and dinner together and we also celebrate big family events together (Christmas, Birthdays, Easter…). My grandparents also play a big role in my life, because I get along with them very well. But we Kids also get certain tasks in the household, like mowing lawn, cleaning the kitchen, our room or minding the pets. We have three bunnies, two hens and two budgies. I have to take care of them daily, like cleaning, feeding etc. So, I’m not unexperienced with pets or other animals. In my free time I like to do sports or hang out with friends. I play soccer in our local soccer club, so I would like to do one team sport in my exchange year, and I’m going for a run two ore three times a week, alone or with my dad. I would say I’m a soccer fan although I don’t have any particular club I support and only watch the German national team. But I would really like to try something new, like American football or something else. I also like to play chess with my friends. I play a little bit chess every day. But those aren’t the only interests I have, I’m interested in history, geography and culture, too. That’s why I want to go to the US, I want to experience a completely new culture. Not only do I want to live in America for a year, but I also want to learn more about the country and the American lifestyle. Right now, I’m in the tenth class of a Gymnasium ( High School). I have good grades in every subject. That is mainly because I’m basically interested in everything, so no worries ;D. My favorite subjects are PE, Math, English and History.
