Dear host family, I would start by saying thank you, because ever since I started middle school, I wanted to do an exchange year in the USA, go to an American high school, live like an American teenage girl, and you’re going to make my dream come true by choosing me. I'm very grateful and excited to be part of your family. I'm Zoé, I'm from France and I live in a small town with my parents and my brother. Let me tell you a little bit more about myself. First, I love travelling and discovering all the beauty of the world, seeing new places and landscapes. I know this is a big privilege. When I get older, I hope I could travel a lot. I already went to the United States, in NYC, and it's one of my best memories with my family. I’m excited to experience a new way of living with you. Besides my love for traveling, I love beauty and makeup, even if my skills aren’t perfect, I love watching tutorials about it and try new products. I like dance too, when I was little, I did different styles of dance, like modern jazz, ragga dancehall, acro-dance, hip hop … I had stopped for 4 years, but now I only do hip hop, once a week, with my best friend for two years. During my free time, I love hanging out with my friends in town, going to the movies and shopping with them. But sometimes I also like staying at home and watching a movie or a series. I hope throughout this program I can do and discover with you, a lot of activities which I’m not usually doing. I also enjoy cooking and baking occasionally, and I hope I could show you some French recipe if you’re interested. I’m pretty quiet and shy at first when I don’t know people, but once I feel comfortable, I enjoy spending time with others. This exchange isn't just an opportunity to improve my English, it's also a chance for me to grow up and push my limits. I’m already impatient to creating unforgettable memories with you !!
