Dear Host Family Hello, my name is Seri. I am a very cheerful and energetic girl. I am in high school now. I have been playing basketball since I was 10 years old, and now I am a member of the basketball team at my high school. I also like swimming and short-distance running. My basketball team practices hard. However, I am blessed with good friends and enjoy playing basketball. I would be happy if I could watch real basketball games and play basketball with my friends in the U.S. as well. I love all kinds of food, but I am not a fan of spicy food. My friends say that I’m at my own pace. This personality sometimes makes people around me feel at ease. I have many dear friends. On my days off, I sometimes go to the movies. I also like Disney movies. I have been to Disneyland several times. I have never been to the United States. So, I am very much looking forward to going to the United States. When I go to the U.S., I want to experience American culture and trends. I also want to meet and communicate with many people in America. I am also looking forward to attending an American school. I think I will be able to experience a variety of sports at the American school. I love to move my body, so I am looking forward to playing sports. I also want to make many friends. I would like to introduce my family. I have grandparents, parents, and an older brother who is a university student. My brother plays football. My father works in construction and is good with his hands. My mother also works, laughs a lot, and has an interesting personality. My brother and I are good friends, and although we both have busy lives, we talk a lot at home. My family and I have been camping and traveling together since I was very young. That is why I like camping. I think America is rich in nature, so I want to go on trips, camping, and picnics.
