's Letter
Dear host family,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am very excited with this opportunity to experience living a whole year in your country. I intend with this letter to introduce myself a little bit and share my expectations to this exchange year.
I come from a loving family, with my parents and a younger sibling, who is currently 13 years old. We enjoy spending time together, such as talking, watching TV or playing sports or board games. I am really friendly with my family, but even living away from home for a while, I know they will always support me and encourage me to pursue my passions.
In terms of daily life, I have a routine that keeps me busy, but I always find a way to keep it balanced. During the week, I spend most of my time studying or reading, however I always try to have time to spend with friends, either online or in person. As I said, I love reading, listening to music, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I have to be honest, sometimes they don’t go well so at first my family and I laugh a lot but then, we try to find a way to make it work and have a delicious meal. I also love learning new languages and improving my language skills. It’s something I am really passionate about.
The first impression I can give is that I’m shy, but when you get to know me you know it’s the opposite. I love talking about History, beauty topics, books, music and of course, English and American culture.
In my free time, I enjoy practicing different hobbies such as drawing, writing, and walking. I love playing badminton, going to the beach, going out with my friends and playing musical instruments. Most part of my life I have spent learning musical instruments, such as the piano, flute and clarinet. when I became a teenager I let it go, but now I found out that I really like musical instruments and I intend to play again.
I am very excited to meet you and look forward to becoming part of your family during my exchange year.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Love. 🤍
