Dear host family
To start this letter I wanted to thank you for participating in the program and accepting me in your home and in your family
I am a Chilean girl, I am in 2 years of high school, I like to get to know new places, new cultures and new people, I would like to learn about the United States and its people, I am very excited to share it with you.
I love watching movies and my favorite food is sushi. I am a cheerful, outgoing, simple and fun person, I always like to make a good first impression, I really ike taking care of my hair and putting on makeup ocasionally, I feel that I could be a great contribution to his family. I enjoy practicing sports such as soccer I also really like to go for a walk, make trails to see the wonders of nature of my country, which I would like to show you, apart from cooking that I love, something that I also enjoy a lot are a family afternoons, going out enjoy what y family or simply staying to play cards on a Sunday night I speak Spanish fluently and I hope I can do the same with English.
I've been training soccer for a year, it always makes me very happy to practice it, I really like this sport and I hope to be able to join my school's soccer club, but if I can't, I would like to try new things and new school clubs, like the cooking club or the cheerleader.
My father is an entrepreneur in the field of construction and he likes to run a lot, my mom works in the public service and likes to cook a lot, my older sister is 8 years older than me and works so I don't live in my day to day with her, only with my parents, she likes to travel a lot just like me. We are a very close family and I hope I can achieve the same with you. We as a family really like to travel and go out to eat every weekend
I feel that the most important thing about my culture is our way of speaking and our distinctive national holiday, where we eat many of our typical foods such as "empanadas", "humitas", "pastel de choclo" and many more things that we could cook together, apart from our national dance which I will surely teach you.
When I saw the photos of a friend who went on exchange and how happy she looked I decided to go on exchange and learn about her culture, I also think I will be able to take wonderful photos and have unforgettable memories with you and my new friends from the United States, I am very excited to become part of your family.
Says goodbye
