Dear host family,
Thank you very much for agreeing to take part in the exchange program and for welcoming me into your family.
I'm a quite extroverted French girl. I'm very sporty and I also like shopping and going out with my family or my friends. At first sight, I’m discreet but when I'm confident enough, I become a girl who laughs a lot.
I love to travel and that's why I'd like to take part in this exchange program in the United States to discover American culture and life. I think living with a local family and going to high school in the United States is the best way in order to experience the american life as a a local and not as a tourist. I can't wait to become fluent in English, and for that you can count on me to spend time chatting with you.
School has always been a place where I feel comfortable. After school, I practice gymnastics several times a week, or i like to hang out with my friends. I've been doing gymnastics since I was a little girl. It allows me to let off steam and push myself. After a session of sport, I feel re-motivated.
On Sundays, I prefer to spend time with my family. My mother is a librarian and my father is an inside sales manager. My parents work a lot, so ever since I was a little girl, I've been very independent, and I feel the need to help out around the house so they can rest a little more.
Family is very important to me. I have two older brothers with whom I get on quite well. I have a 3 years old dog, which I'm very attached to and I love spending time walking him or playing with him.
We're a close-knit family who like to spend time together, visiting museums, traveling and going for walks. But we also like to play board games or watch films quietly at home.
In the future, I'd love to study law to become a juvenile judge, or work as an
architect, but nothing's set in stone yet, so i guess i’ll figure it out later. Hoping that this echange program will help me to find out what i want to become.
I am excited to become a part of your family!
Warm Regards,
Adele
