Dear my host family Hello, I am Moichi. If I go to the U.S., I would like to go to the movies and eat corn dog with you guys. I heard that American pizza is very big. I love pizza. I would like to try it. And I like to cook, so when I have time, I cook various kinds of meals. I want to cook Japanese food such as ramen, sushi, Japanese curry, and fried noodles for you guys. I like to play the guitar. I belong to a rock band club and practice various songs with my band members. My father is in a band and taught me how to play. I like Japanese bands, but I also like the American bands “Rage Against the Machine” and “Nirvana” because my father likes them. My father went to the U.S. for an exchange program when he was my age. The host family and my father at that time are still good friends. So I would like to participate in this program because I would like to have friends like that. When I traveled to the Philippines, I saw children selling water bottles. Many young children are still working instead of going to school. By learning English, I will be able to communicate with more people, and I would like to contribute to eliminating poverty in the world. I live in Japan. Tokyo is close to there. I live with my parents and my younger brother. My grandparents also live nearby and we often spend time together. My father and mother are cheerful and funny, and they have always taken us to many countries. My brother is also cheerful and loves video games, so sometimes we play a Nintendo game called Super Smash Bros. together. I always win. I want to make lots of memories with you guys.
