Dear Host family Hi I'm Francisca! I'm from Chile, Im still in high school and I really like travelling and meeting new cultures, Including American culture thats why I want to learn about it and experience it. I like doing sports like artistics gymnastics, wacthing movies and series, and going out with my friends to places like the beach or the mall. Im organized and responsible about my studies because they really matter to me and my future. I also enjoy going out with my family, sometimes we go out to eat and have a great time. My brother is in college, my mom is an engineer and my dad works on tug harbor. Every saturdays my whole family gets together and we have lunch. Some weekends we go visit my grandparents and we spend the whole day with them, I really like playing cards with my grandpa, sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. My friends tell me that I am a good listener, that I have a good will to do stuff, that im friendly and kind. Right now I speak Spanish and partially english, but I hope that I can become fluent in english while being there. I really like learning new languages, at the moment im trying to learn mandarin its a bit complicated but im trying. I enjoy a lot listening to music although I dont play any instrument, I think music can really change your mood and your day, but it depends on the genre. I hope that participating in this program gives me memorable experiencies and that it opens up more opportunities for my future.
