Hello, dear family, I’m a French girl named Laurine, I live in France with my parents, I have one sister and one dog. I love travelling in the world. My biggest dream has always been to live in US, discovering the culture in real. I would like to take part in school’s events like proms or see American football matchs. Also I would love to feel the Christmas and Halloween vibe in streets with houses decorations and activities like carving pumpkins. I also want to taste American food. I can’t wait to see the school, the city, huge fridge, take yellow buses, make new friends, see American flags, go support my school football team,… I’m sportive, I wish I will do a lot of sport in US. In France, I practice handball but I think it will be complicated to find a handball club in US, even if I like almost all the sports like soccer, swimming, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, running, dance and gym(I’m not good at it). I ski almost every year with my family for me is the better holiday in year, last year I tried for the first time to snow it was really complicated. Two years ago I tried for the first time to surf it was a really great experience so I did it a second and a third time, I need to practice but I also really like surfing. I also love cooking, alone or with family or friends, my favorites thing is to prepare pastries. I would like to bake some French pastries with and for you. I love hanging out with friends to go shopping or something, my friends are funny, I laugh a lot with them. My family members are hilarious. I am also funny when I feel comfortable with people. I’m little bit shy but I’m sure you will help me to feel comfortable. I know at the beginning I will be stressed but after I will live my dream. I’am ambitious, courageous and determined. I love watching sport like soccer or handball with my dad, we have watch a lot of matchs on tv or in stadium, my favorite soccer player is Ronaldo. I also like watching series or movies on Netflix, my favorite one is Gossip Girl. Sometime with my family we watch movies together, like Harry Potter. I have watch it more than 3 time each movie of the saga. Finally I care a lot about my dog I love playing or sleeping with she. I like children, I love playing with them, they are all really funny and cute. At school I always had good grades, I hope I will keep this mindset for this year. Last year a Italian girl name Amelia lived with my family for 5 months she became a sister for me. She is really courageous and she inspired me to realize this project. For my future career I don’t have plans I just know that if I love the American atmosphere, I will come back. I really love travelling so I hope I will travel a lot in my life. Maybe I will become a Stewart. I also like economics, sport, English or mathematics so I will probably work in those activities areas.
