's Letter

Dear Host Family, Hello! My name is Tomoki from Japan, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to stay with your family. I am a member of the basketball club at school, and I love playing sports and being active. Basketball is my favorite, but I also enjoy other activities like running and cycling. I am always eager to try new sports and games. I have been studying English for a few years now, and I am working hard to improve my skills. I am really looking forward to practicing with your family and learning more about American culture. American education is free and flexible, with a wide variety of subject choices and learning styles. The U.S. is a place where many international students from all over the world gather, and it is culturally diverse. I decided to study abroad because interacting with people from different backgrounds allows me to broaden my global perspective and deepen my cross-cultural understanding. I would like to work for a foreign-affiliated company and pursue a future where I can immerse myself in my hobbies while investing in my work. MY FAMILY INTRODUCE My mother's hobbies include playing golf on the course and relieving stress by playing karaoke. My father's hobbies are diverse, such as going around the golf course and listening to various music, just like my mother. At last, My brother doesn't have any particular hobbies, but he likes to drive around and has been going somewhere almost all day since he got his driver's license. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and reading books. I am also interested in cooking, and I would love to learn how to make some traditional American dishes. I am excited to meet you and your family and to share my Japanese culture with you. Thank you very much for welcoming me into your home. I hope we will have a wonderful time together. Best regards, Tomoki
