Dear Host Family, Thank you for participating in the exchange program and taking the time and effort to read my letter to you. My name is Ingmar. I live, together with my parents, sister and dog, in the northern part of the Netherlands. I visited the USA a couple of times because I have family living in Idaho. During those visits I realized that I like the American way of living. So I would like to experience more of the American culture and stay longer then three weeks during my vacation. I love to spend time with my close friends and family. For me it is verry important to have a good relationship with them. I play soccer three times a week. I am a goalkeeper and I live for this game. I also like to listen to music and maybe in the future make my own music. School is where I meet my friends during the week. In the weekend I also meet with my friends from soccer. After school is done I bike home for 6 miles and listen to music. When I come home I go to my room and listen some more music and make my homework. Two evenings a week I work in a supermarket as a cashier. I like the contact I have with the customers and colleagues In the future I want to be a sport coach in soccer. Last year I coached a team with 10 year old boys. That is why I really like to coach a team in the future. I am looking forward to learn a lot from the American culture but I also love to share some of the Dutch culture with you.
