Hi, My name is Agueda and I am from the Basque country in the north of Spain. First of all, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity of going to America. I am really looking forward to living an experience in a new country with another culture and also to share mine with you. Now I am going to talk about myself. My favorite sport is riding horses because I really like animals. Working with them is very exciting. I take classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays. And sometimes I do junior competitions. I ride big ponneys because we are still too young to ride horses. I have a dog named Eki he is 6 months old I like to spend time with him. At home, I am the one that walks the dog. I like it because find it relaxing. Besides I took a compromise when we adopted him. In my free time, I also like chatting with my friends but since my mom has parental control over my phone I do it after my school homework. On the weekends, In my free time, I like to meet with my friends. We watch films together. I like horror films and adventure films. I have many friends. Some of them belong to the school I go to. Among them, Itsaso is my best friend. I have another group of friends from scouts and another from the riding school I go to. I am very sociable, although I am shy at the beginning. I need a little process first to get confident. I go to a catholic school and we wear a uniform. Since I want to become a veterinary, I am taking the line of science so my favorite subjects are Maths, Biology, and English. I also like Physical Education because I love sports in general. Choosing this line of study requires a lot of responsibility and hard work. In my family, we have a strong sense of unity not only among my parents, my sisters and me, but also with my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. We like to organize gatherings to see each other. We love to be together. In summer I always go to Mallorca because part of my mum´s family is from there. I also go to France because my mom is a french teacher and she wants me to learn the language, which I also like and I take in school. We have inherited the love of traveling as my grandfather was a commercial pilot, and with time I would like to go to different continents. I belong to a scout group since I was 10 years old. We do activities every Sunday. Sometimes we do interior activities, others we go to the mountain, and others we do community service. We are taught values and we learn to work in the group. In summer we camp for 2 weeks, 7 days of which are trekking. By the end of the scouting formation, I will be able to become a monitor. I will probably go for it as I love children.
