Dear Host family, My name is Joon, and I hope to go to the United States as an exchange student through the Ayusa. Let me briefly introduce myself. My hobbies include watching movies and animations, reading books, taking walks in my neighborhood, and playing the piano. When I feel stressed, I like to watch movies to relax, take walks to organize my thoughts, or play the piano to unwind. I am particularly interested in education and writing. My interest in education began when I felt a sense of fulfillment teaching my friends how to solve difficult math problems. My love for writing comes from a memorable experience participating in a [reading and writing] activity, which I found very enjoyable. These two areas continue to fascinate me. I also enjoy activities like hiking and watching basketball games (even though I’m not very good at playing basketball). My dream is to become a journalist. I aspire to deliver truthful and accurate information to people around the world. Although there will be challenges along the way, I am determined to do my best to achieve this goal. My English-speaking skills might not be perfect at first, which could make communication a little difficult. However, I will do my best to adapt and spend a happy year with my host family.
