Dear future host family, Thank you to participate at this exchange student programs. You will allow myself to realise my biggest dream. My name is Adrien and I’m a French student. I love travel, discover the world and try news things. So, this experience it’s done for me. I will leave France for a semester to discover American culture like these celebrations (thanksgiving, Halloween…), or his sports culture, and develop my English skills. So, now more information about me, to describe myself in three worlds I think sporty, calm and funny are the good word. I like do a lot of different things, first I love practice sport, I practice soccer for 7 years and badminton since September 2024. Secondly spend a lot of time with persons that I like (my friends, my family…) and meet new person to always discover more about everything in the world. And my second passion after sport is aviation/ aeronautic, and in my school, I select an option (BIA) to learn more about this subject, and BIA it’s one of my favourite subjects with maths and languages (English and Spanish). And later I want to work in aeronautic or aviation because I don’t will have the impression to work if I do it. And I love travel around the world, for the moment I discover 9 countries, and I always like visit new place, talk with news persons, discover cultures… So, to have a better understanding, I will describe a lambda day in my French life, the morning I wake up at 6:30/7:00 am and I’m preparing to go to high school, I leave my house at 7:30 am to start my classes at 8:00 am. I have a break of one hour at 12:00 to eat. And I finish my school day at 5:00 pm. I’m coming in my house, I do my homework, I’m relax, and I leave my house a second time to go to at my soccer training who’s starting at 7:30pm to finish at 9:00pm and after I’m come, I eat, and I sleep. In these days I see a lot of my friends, I have 2/3 different groups friend, (in school and soccer) there are different feeling, but I like everyone. And in my house, I live with my parents and one little brother, he is 2 years younger than me, he likes sport and play soccer like me in the same club. My dad works in logistics, sales forecasting and management, he likes motorsport like F1 or MotoGP. And my mom is geo-marketing-manager, she reads a lot of books a year (for me reading is not a big passion). Here all is good, so I’m very haste and ready to be a new member of your family. If I’m coming in your family, I’m ready for everything, respect your rules, learn about your habits and cultures, I will do everything to become like a real son. My main goal is to have a crazy experience, and when I return in France, I want to say to my friends and family I spend the best months of my life in US, and it’s not hard to realize it because I just want to develop my English skills, discover and try news things. I will learn a lot during these months, but you will can learn a lot too, about me and French culture. I’m ready to share anecdote, to why not sometimes cook some French food.
