Dear Host Family, Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home! My name is Idris, and I’m really excited about the opportunity to be an exchange student in the United States. I wanted to take this chance to introduce myself and share a bit about who I am. I love staying active and go to the gym regularly, focusing on strength training and boxing. These activities have taught me discipline, perseverance, and the value of hard work. I enjoy spending time with my friends, whether we’re working out together, playing sports, or just hanging out. My friends would describe me as determined, friendly, and always up for a challenge. In school, my day typically starts around 8 AM and ends around 3 PM. While I take a variety of subjects, I’m particularly interested in economics, which my school unfortunately doesn’t offer. That’s why I’m excited about the chance to study it in the U.S. and gain a deeper understanding of the field. After graduation, I plan to pursue economics and explore the business world further. During my time in the U.S., I’m looking forward to experiencing high school life—attending events like homecoming and prom, supporting sports teams, and participating in all the traditions. I’m also excited to try American food, which I already love, and spend time with my host family while learning about American culture and creating lasting memories together.
