's Letter
Dear Host Family,
My name is Jędrzej but you can call me Jędrek. I live in Poland. I have quite a lot of interest including: volleyball, swimming, working out at gym, playing video games, listening to music, watching films and watching matches of different teams in different sports. I am about 180cm tall, now when I am writing this letter I have dyed hair on blond, but normally I'm a brunette. I have a quite big family because except my parents I have a older sister and younger brother, also I have 2 Jack Russell Terrier dogs. I am learning in high school in second class. My extended subjects are English and Spanish, also I know a little bit od German, because I learned it in primary school for 4 years. My typical day starts with taking the shower, next I'm eating breakfast usually cereals with milk, after eating I am brushing my teeth and getting ready for school. Usually one of my family member is giving me a lift to the train station which is 1 km from my home. Usually the train is going about 20 minutes, next I am walking to the tram and I go straight to school. My lessons are about 7 hours a day, so after it ends I am going back to my house. At my home I am eating lunch and learning subjects. After learning I have a lot of options which depends on the day: I can hang out with my friend, chill out with my family or go play some sports or work out. About 8 pm I am eating dinner with my family and go to the shower. I usually go to the sleep at 11 pm. Here’s a summary of my key strengths and positive traits: Helpfulness, Dedication, Empathy, Openness, Impartiality, Objectivity, Patience, Availability, Optimism, Willingness to work. I want to take part in this exchange program because of I want to learn local culture and feel like American student because it is my dream to know the language well and study in the school abroad. You can ask - Jędrek, but why USA? I chose this destination because it's the place I have never been and the life in other country is totally different from my home country. Also the opportunity to learn English is one of the most important thing, when I think about going on this exchange program. Into the family I want to implement my local culture and traditional dishes like pork chops and dumplings. As a student to American teenagers I can be friendly, helpful, supporting, people can trust me, an open person and I am a person with a sense of humor.
Thank you, Host family, for your hospitality and I hope to see you soon.
