Dear host family, my name is Candela. I would love to live the experience of living with an American family, to learn their language, lifestyle, culture and traditions, and ultimately to feel like a member of their family. For me it would be a very rewarding experience, with which I hope to create lifelong friendships. I define myself as a very active, sociable and participative girl, especially in group activities, I love making new friends and getting to know new places. On the other hand, I love to practice sports, currently I do Triathlon, but I also love winter sports like skiing. I live with my parents and my sister Violeta, who is two years younger than me. We live in a city which has about 45,000 inhabitants, and I go to high school in this same city. My aunts and uncles and grandmothers also live nearby, and this allows me to visit them weekly, as I consider myself very family oriented. My favorite food is pasta, pizza and potato omelet, although I also like fruit and vegetables, and above all to know and try new foods. I also like to cook, although I am still learning some cooking techniques and new recipes. I like to listen to pop and reggaeton music, and also watch movies and series, of different styles, except horror movies. My family and friends say that I am a very responsible and kind person. They are very excited for me, so that I can live this experience because they are sure that it will be a very valuable personal and cultural learning for me.
