Dear host family, My name is Ilona, and I would like to start by thanking you for welcoming me into your home. This is an incredible opportunity for me, and I can't wait to get to know you. I have been passionate about soccer for a long time, a sport I discovered thanks to my dad and my brother. I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old, and it takes up a big part of my time. I also have an older brother, Nathan, and my parents, Estelle and François, are very important to me. We love spending time together. Sometimes, I cook with my mom, and we enjoy discussing a variety of topics, especially health. With my dad, we often talk about soccer and music, while with my brother, we discuss fashion and other interests. On weekends, I go to the gym, do my homework, and participate in soccer matches. I also enjoy relaxing or going out with friends or family. I particularly like outings such as bowling or going to the movies with my family, and with my friends, we enjoy hanging out in the city or doing fun activities. I want to go to the United States to improve my English, meet new people, and experience different cultures. I would like to continue practicing sports there and create new connections.
