's Letter

Dear Host Family, Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and considering me as a part of your family. My name is Tonmai, and I’m from Thailand, a country known for its delicious food and warm hospitality. I am currently in Grade 10, studying in the Math & Science program. I work hard at my studies and also enjoy participating in school activities with my friends. In my free time, I love reading Japanese comics, playing sports like running and soccer, and exploring creative hobbies. I’m also passionate about learning new skills, languages, and experiences, and I’m eager to learn more about American culture during my time with you. I may be a little shy at first, but I quickly adapt to new situations. You'll soon find me doing my best to help others, showing compassion, understanding, and respect in all interaction. My dad is a pharmacist and enjoys watching soccer. My mom is a doctor and has always been a hardworking role model for me. I have a younger brother, who is two years younger than me and is currently in 8th grade. We enjoys spending time together, especially running, playing soccer or games, and also playing with our dogs. I left home to study in a big city when I was 13. I usually only go home to be with my family twice a year during school breaks. This experience helped me become independent and take responsibility for my own studies and daily life, something I want to develop even more. With my determination, I joined this exchange program, and I am committed to doing my best as an exchange student. This program will open up a new and exciting world for me, and I believe it will help me learn more about people and culture. I am also confident that the skills and experiences I gain will benefit my life, studies, and future career. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this letter. I am so excited to get to know you all, and look forward to learning, growing, and creating unforgettable memories together! Warm Regards, Tonmai
