Dear Host Family, I'm really grateful for your hospitality in welcoming me into your home. I am very excited with the opportunity you're giving me to experience life in The United States of America, get to know your culture, and become part of your family. I am Hente and I would say im an, curious, and motivated learner. In my free time, I work as a DJ, playing in hotspots in my hometown and organizing events for young people. I also love hanging out with my friends, going to new places, and doing new things. I come from a loving family, including my mom, dad, little brother and my foster brother. We do many things together, such as movie nights together or city trips with my mom to places like Amsterdam, Utrecht, or even London. My dad and I love the cinema, my younger brother and I love gaming together. My foster brother, who was a friend before becoming part of our family, is someone I do all the stuff with you would do with your best friend. I’m enthusiastic about the American way of life, like riding the yellow school busses, and going to football games and experiencing the typical Halloween and Christmas traditions. To give something in return I would love to show and explain you everything about my cultures like making typical Dutch pancakes or Dutch apple pie. Here in the Netherlands, I start my day with school in the morning, after that I go boxing, DJing, or spending time with friends. On weekends, I really like traveling to different cities or organizing fun outings with my friends. I hope to continue some of these activities while trying new things and making new friends and memories. My goals for the future are to study arts and economics, mixing my love for music and organizing events, and to grow out my own business. Things I strongly believe in are working hard, having goals and taking care of my friends and family.
