Dear host Family, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to introduce myself and express my excitement about the opportunity to live with you as part of the exchange program. First of all, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am from Germany, and I am passionate about sports, especially soccer and American football. In the winter, I enjoy skiing, and I love riding my e-bike and snorkeling in the summer. In my free time, I enjoy being active outdoors and spending time with my friends and family. At home, we are a close family, and we all enjoy different hobbies. My father loves playing music and mountain biking, and my mother enjoys traveling and spending time with friends. I have an older brother who also participated in this exchange program and had a fantastic experience in the United States. His stories have further inspired me to take part in this opportunity. The reason I am interested in attending high school and living in the United States with an American family is to improve my English language skills and broaden my horizons by gaining a new perspective on the world. I am eager to learn about American customs and traditions, and I am excited to experience the American way of life firsthand. As for my future plans, I hope to explore my interests while finishing my education. I aim to become more independent and form long-lasting friendships along the way. I understand that living with a host family is a big responsibility, but I am confident that I can be a good guest and a good student.
