Dear host family, Thank you very much for being open to participate in the exchange program and taking me into your family. I am a German boy and have just been in the 10th grade. My favorite subjects at school are sports, biology and chemistry. I like to try new things and explore the world, especially USA. Last year we travelled to New York and Florida together with my family and I was totally thrilled. And I have decided that I definitely want to come back. Now I want to learn more about American culture and participate in your life. I am a very sociable, sporty, friendly, and fun-loving person. And I like to play sports like soccer, golf, basketball, and swimming. I speak two different languages, German, English, and a little bit of Spanish. I have soccer training twice a week and every weekend my team play a soccer match against other local soccer teams, and together with my familiy we watch matches and support the local basketball team. Otherwise I meet my friends for beeing together and talking, watching films and relaxing. Once a week I do a student job. I deliver medication to elderly people for a pharmacy. My father is a big fan of American football and during the season he watches almost every weekend NFL games. My mother loves to travel and does a lot with our dog. My sister is three years younger than me, and she is in 7th grade. She also plays soccer; she is a goalkeeper, and she plays the flute. And I also have a twin brother who goes to the same class with me, and he plays basketball. As a family we are very close, and I hope to become a part of your family as well. When I saw pictures and videos of other Ayusa exchange students on social media, I was even more willing to go to the United States and learn about your culture.
