Dear Host Family, To start thank you very much for volunteering for this program and giving me the chance to live with you this experience. I'm a French girl, I live near Germany and I have just started my high school years. Since I was a little girl I have been dreaming living in the United states and discover the "American dream", I would never have thought that there was a way to realize it until I came across a video of a girl talking about her experience of 1 year in an host family . When I was eleven, I spoked to my parents about the project, and they told me it was a good idea and encouraged me in my project. Since I was a child I only dream to discover the world and travel far. I am the kind of girl who loves her life in France, my family and my friends , however to be aligned with my dreams, I need to discover things by myself and make new experiences and memories away from home. I have always been a person full of life and I am open to everything that is offered to me. I am very helpful, very social ( i make friends very easily and manage to integrate myself). I love laughing ( especially making silly jokes), dancing and making people around me happy, I'm straightforward and creative. On the other hand one of my default is that I've never been very comfortable with babies. Here in France I do a lot of sports after classes around 7pm until 8/10pm during WE, at this time I go to gym or run when I have time, sometimes I go out with my friends after school too, honestly I need to move a lot ! I would like to be able to join the cheer team in America because I already did gymnastic when i was younger. I have many friends here and I have a good reputation; I know quite well how to play piano, I already did some years of classes. If I'm taken in your family I could make you discover some recipes of French cuisine (les crêpes françaises for example), participate in tasks of the house and join you in some activities, if you have a dog I could go on a walk with him. Of course i will try to make you guys laugh even if in english it's not that easy !! I really hope to be part of your family, looking forward to meeting you.
