Akito

's Letter

Dear Host Family, Hi Hello! I'm Akito from Japan. I belong to the baseball club at my school because I like baseball. We are a family of four; my father, mother, older sister, and me. My older sister has joined this Ayusa program. My father likes baseball too. I play shortstop and I’m the second batter in my baseball club. I’m retiring soon, but I would like to revive my baseball club. I joined this program because I would like to understand American culture and share Japanese culture with my host family and friends in the U.S. Another reason is to improve my English language skills. I would like to talk a lot with my host family. I would also like to learn a lot about each other’s culture. I would like to actively help with the housework. I am always cheerful and positive so I will give happiness to my host family. In my free time, I like to hang out with my friends and I spend time with my family. I also love Disney, so I watch Disney movies. In the future, I am planning to become a member of California Disney’s staff, so I think I need to understand foreign cultures and improve my English language. I am looking forward to meeting you. Sincerely, Akito
