Dear future host family, First of all I want to say thank you that you choose me as your future exchange student. Even though I don't know anything about you yet I'm already really exited to meet you. Until we meet each other I want to tell you something about me. My name is Tessa and I live with my Mom Kathrin who is a pediatric nurse in an apartment. My Dad Alex is a Police officer who lives near by me. I also have an older sister, her name is Emmy. She also did an exchange year in the USA in 2016/17 and becomes now a prospective English teacher. I am a family person. My Mom and I have a very good relationship. We spend much time together and talk about everything going on in our lifes. In our household we got some rules like cleaning my room, empty the dishwasher and clean the apartment. I have many friends and I don't want to miss them. We have sleep overs, we bake, do sports, photo shootings, watching ice hockey or soccer games or meeting at home. I am a very open and funny person. I really like to laugh, try to be friendly and respectful. I am also a very good listener and consultant.I can also be very crazy sometimes and I'm happy if I can make my family and friends happy. I am a very active person and very outgoing. I do a lot with my friends and sometimes go to musical or theater shows with my family. My favorite subjects in school are Music, English and Sport. I'm already very excited how school is like in the USA and wich subjects I am able to choose. I am a very Musical person. I've been singing for my whole life and have been taking Musical lessons once a week for 4 years. I also used to play the piano, but I stopped. I´ve been dancing in two competition groups for over five years. We always try many types of dances, but most of the time we dance hip-hop and street dance. I´m also good at acting, but so far only in private. I really love to style the hair of my friends and family or do their make-up. I even cut my friends hair or braid it sometimes. And they always like it. What I also like a lot is traveling. I love discovering new places and I'm open to new things. I´m already really exited to be part of your family and get experience on typical traditions like Thanksgiving, Halloween or the Prom. Next year I get the chance to make my dream come true, learn something about your culture, more about the English language and many more things. I´m looking forward to meet you and get to know you.
