Dear host family, I hope that you're doing well !Let me introduce myself, my name is Lily, I'm from belgium. If i'm writing this letter it's because in 2025 I would like to go to the United-States for an exchange year. To make my dream come true I need to find a family ! Maybe it's yours ? If I had to describe myself I would say that I'm really joyful and always smiling, I'm also really generous and kind. I'm a person who would try to make you smile if you're sad, would listen to you if you have any problems and try to help you as much as i can ! Everybody around me would agree. I may be a bit shy at first but when you get to know me you will how simple, calm and funny I am... My family are the person that i'm the closest to, I love them. There is my mother that is the most excited about this experience. That is why I love her, she knows how much this exchange year is dear to me and do her best for me to do it ! There is my dad that is the funniest person alive ! There are my two brothers that i will miss a lot ! They are older than me so they always protected me when I had a problem. There is my little sister, she is quiet and timid but she is really kind. I'm also close to my friends, I don't have many but I love them ! I have good grades, my favorite subjects are english and french and the one that I like the least is math. I study a lot on the weekends because after school I'm going to my dance lessons ! Dancing is my favorite things to do like this is really important to me, I have been dancing since I was 3 and I never stopped. Right now, I have 11 hours of dancing per week and i think i manage it well with school and everything ! I also like reading, baking, listening to music, hangin out with my friends, going to the cinema,... And it is not just that, I like everything, and I know how to enjoy everything I do. I am truly grateful for all that I can do. I really want to do this exchange year, obviously because that will help me to improve my english but also it's an experience that you only do once in your life and I choose the United-states because it’s always been the country I wanted to go, to see the cultures and what life is there. I think this will also help me to find myself, what I want to do in my future and It will also help me to open myself more to people. I will bring a lot of fun in my future school and family, I know that you could never spend a day without laughing with me. I will make you discover the Belgian traditions and I hope to do so for yours ! I will bring you the good Belgian mood !
