Dear host family, hey, my name is Finia, I am a german girl who is currently attending high school here and I am very excited about the opportunity to be your exchange student for the upcoming year. At the moment, I have quite a few hobbies. In my free time outside of school, I really enjoy to stay active. Jogging and playing Tennis are two of my favorite things to do besides reading, cooking or baking, spending time with my family, friends or children in general. I usually try to go jogging every day in the evening because it‘s a great way for me to clear my mind and maintain my athleticism. Even though I have only been playing Tennis for two years, I really like playing matches and training together with my teammates and friends. As mentioned before, I have a passion for reading. Whether it is novels, non-fiction, or poetry, I love exploring different worlds through books and getting to know different author‘s opinions on certain topics. Moving on, cooking and baking has been a hobby of mine for a few years now. I love experimenting with new recipes and flavor combinations and it is always exciting to (re)create something and share it with family and friends. I guess, you could say that food is my love language and I do think that culture is submitted through food. Both family and friends are very important to me, and I love going on vacations with my parents and my sister. Whether it‘s roadtrips or going to the beach together, these moments have created lots of happy memories. In my opinion, spending quality time together with people is very important, whether it is meaningful conversations, laughing together, or simply enjoying each other‘s company, I cherish these exact moments the most. In the end, some of the values that are very important to me are honesty, loyalty, responsibility and punctuality. I believe that communicating openly is the base of any strong relationship, and I value the connection that comes from sharing thoughts and being honest with each other. I hope this letter has helped you get to know me a little better and I truly am grateful that you are willing to participate in this program.
