Hello, my name is Fernanda, when I feel safe I can´t stop talking and laughing with people. I love the beach and ride bycicle, unfortunelly where I live the nearest beach is an hour and a half away by car. I live in the country side with my parents and my siblings, Valentina is 19 years old, she is the oldest, she graduated from school last year, and this year she went to an intensive English course in San Diego California, next year she is going to University. Benjamin is 16 years old, he is the middle one, we are in the same school, eventhough we dont see each other so much during classes, because we have diferente Friends groups and we have different interests, but we have something in common that is art and crafts or painting, when we were kids I can remember he taught me to draw the first “Bodies” so they look more realistic. Now we are older, we are told that we have a gift for art, but my brother made it more often than me and he was more interested in that, instead I stoped making crafts and start thinking more about in my studies I just drowed when I had some homework to do.  As I am the last sibling last year I was very shy, I never made myself noticed in my class, I was so embarrased to even ask somethin to the teachers, that year one of my Friends nominated me for president of my class, I never thought I could be chosen as I was someone who never stood out like the others. I had Good grades, and I didn´t know how, but I´m the president of my class now. First it was quite difficult for me because I felt ashamed to made them respect me and to do things, but slowly and after a month I started to feel more self confident, I could organize some activities to collect money, celebrate our teacher´s birthday and some students, and some other things. At the end of the year one student is chosen as the best student of the class, this is something done every year and it goes on the school magazine, every teacher has to choose one of the class, our teacher didn´t tell us who was going to be. I never thought It could be me. When the teacher said my name I was in shock, I didn´t think I worked so hard, the thing is that I never realized of my personal development and the effort I made that year. Clearly there was many people with angry faces, because they didn´t win. One year later I can see I really deserved the prize. This year, the first semester I applied to be president again and I lost for just one point, but I was ok, I could think more of my studies. On Winter vacations a group of people asked me to be president again, but it was very difficult, because we had to make re-elections and I didn´t know if every one would voted for me, again a surpraise because they chose me, one month ago I organized with some teachers to work with some poor kids and we took them to our school , we gave them sorprises, we decorated with baloons, there were gifts, Delicious food, cotton candies, we play a lot and the kids were very happy. Then we reunited more money for ourselves and It made us more conscious about spending money. This year I wasn´t in any dance group, I just  want to work on decorations and paintings, what is important for the activities. My favorites sujects are arts, english and language, I am not so Good in math, chemistry and phisics but I do my best.  I think language is very funny and interesting, english is very interesting for me since I was a child when I saw Disney movies, and arts always was easy for me I think thats why I had Good grades and I don´t have to make so much effort As profesional goals I want to study to become an English teacher and I would like to apply for a scholarship to USA, before that I would like to have a year off and travel working  to know different places and have more life experience, my parents always say that I must not stay just in one place. They always travel  and I would like to do the same. As an example my english teacher before working she traveled to USA to work and she traveled a lot too. She is a very cool person and she helped me with my love for english, she told me I was very Good in her class. As family we love to travel and know different places all together, even small places, there is a wáter fall near my city and a hidden lake where there is no signal and we can ride a boat, we can make barbecues and eat, as family we love to it. When we travel we have to eat near the road, even it is a short trip. I am allergic to cats and dogs and some other things but I have lived with them all my life so it is no so serious, I just sneeze and I take some pills when it is necessary. I have a cat and a dog and I have lived with them all my life, I think my love for animals can win allergies, when I was a child I was told it was spring allergies. I love to walk, and more if I can see sunsets. I would love to make walks with my host familiy to share my interests and some nice quality times, I would like to visit some festivals, with my familiy always visit festivals near my city, I would like to learn about the traditions, and see how different is an american family and learn from them.  In my free time I would like to cook, specially salty foods, but if there is any new recipe I can try to do it inmediately, I think it Will be beautiful to cook Chilean food, I always help in the kitchen to cook our tipical food.   What make me unique is my leadership and that I can follow other leaders, I love to have new challenges and goals, I can face some troubles but Im sure I Will get over them, I am hard working and if things go wrong I don´t give up, that makes me unique.
