Iharu

's Letter

To my dear host family Hello, my name is Iharu. I want to play games with my host family and watch horror movies together. The game is very fun if you cooperate with someone, and when you watch horror movies with a large number of people, everyone makes a fuss, so you can enjoy the excitement like watching sports and the fear of the movie at the same time. I think I can make my host family smile. I seem to be quite different compared to others, and my actions often make my family and friends burst into laughter. I hear from my friends and family that I don't care about what I've been worried about until now. I'm not acting with the intention of making me laugh, but everyone laughs, so I'm very happy. I usually read books and do assignments on weekdays. My school has a lot of assignments, and I have to write my graduation thesis, so I have little time to be free on weekdays. So holidays are like a paradise, you can play games for as many hours, write stories, read books, listen to music, stay up late, and do what you want to do. Also, at school, you can argue with friends about the interpretation of the contents of the book, talk about your favorite anime characters, race how close you can without noticing the snakes and lizards that sometimes appear because the school is on the mountain, and on the way home from school I'm trying to find a new way down from the mountain. The reason why I decided to study abroad is because I wanted to be independent and to live outside of Japan. I usually have the impression that I'm absent from everyone, and I want to change myself, I want to be respected by everyone, and I'm interested in living abroad. Because I've always wanted to see what kind of people live and what kind of scenery there is, and I thought this study abroad was an opportunity. My future dream is to be a novelist. I've always liked books and read them all the time, and I wanted to write interesting stories, and I wanted to experience things that I couldn't experience in reality, even in the story. In order to make this dream come true, I usually take notes so that I don't forget what I feel in my daily life, write sentences, and ask my friends to read them and tell me the improvement points. Thanks to that, the number of stories I want to write is increasing, and I can't keep up with the pace of writing. Next, I'm going to introduce my family. My family consists of three people: my mother, uncle, and twins Masaru. My mother likes cooking, she often bakes delicious bread, and she likes fashion and often wears beautiful clothes. My uncle is very smart, especially because he knows a lot about living things and bacteria, and sometimes he tells me about bacteria, and he also likes to fish and takes me fishing. Masaru goes to a different school from me and doesn't have many opportunities to talk, but when I'm carrying my luggage, he will carry it instead. Finally, I would like to thank my host family. Thank you for deciding to accept me. I may cause you a lot of trouble, I apologize in advance, I'm sorry. But my desire to do my best is real. I look forward to working with you for a year. Sincerely, Iharu
