Dear Host Family, Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family. I am a German girl and at the moment I visit the 10th class. I really like to travel, trying new things and I want to explore the world especially America :) I would like to learn more about your culture and share in your life. I love cooking, baking, reading books and watching series on Netflix for example. I also love the beach and going out with my friends or doing some fun trips. I am outgoing, love to experience new things and I would say that I am also a creative, funny and loving person. My friends would say that I’m a bit like the sun because I seem often very happy :) I enjoy doing sports, such as figure skating. I also played handball a few years ago. I speak three different languages, of course German and I also speak Spanish and Englisch. I hope it will get better during the year, but at the moment my English is also good enough to speak with other English people and to understand what they are saying :) It also makes me happy to help other people, especially my friends. Organising parties or events is also something I like to do. Because of that I’m also in a organising group for activities at school. I have played the piano for 11 years and I enjoy to play it. I like dancing and maybe I want to join the cheerleading team in America because at my school or in my vicinity we don’t have an offer to do this. My dad is working in a company which produces important parts for machines or cars. He’s a maintenance expert. Also my dad is very interested in music, he´s a sound engineer and he loves to play the piano too. My mom works as a teacher and she loves doing things in the garden. I also have a younger sister.
