Dear Host Family, I am looking forward to spend time with you and experience life in America. I am very excited about my exchange year and really grateful that you are offering to take me in. I myself I come from a family of four people. I live together with both my parents and my younger sister. I would consider myself as an open and undramatic person. My hobbies are Tennis, Kickboxing and Basketball. In my free time I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family. I also like listening to rock and metal music. I am looking forward to experiencing the “Highschool spirit” and learning another hobby but also find some new friends during that time. I currently have no strict curfew at home but normally I get home at 10pm. Sometimes I stay overnight at a friend when parents do allow. My screen time is on my own responsibility. I like to get insight into your way of living and experience the life of an American teenager. I am also eager to share some aspects of the German culture like traditional dishes, language but also some traditional celebrations with you.
